Skiing Package

Kiwissa Ski Centre

Our package: $99.00/person based on 4 guests.

3 days/2 nights which includes 1 night ski under the lights (Friday) and two days of skiing (Saturday & Sunday) . Also included are your accommodations for the weekend is our clean, comfortable 4 bedroom Vacation Home located in a peaceful setting on the outskirts of town. After a day on the slopes you can enjoy our wood fired sauna.

We also have a Northern Trails Ski Club for Cross Country skiers the club maintains two separate distinct trail systems, the Clubhouse Trails & the Kiwissa Trails. Clubhouse trails located at the Golf Hut provide a total of 5km of groomed trails for both skating & classic techniques. Kiwissa Trails is located at the Kiwissa Ski Center and it provides 4 km of groomed trails. Rentals are available at the Clubhouse on a first come, first serve basis.

SNOWMOBILING

Manitouwadge is located at the hub of our regional TOPS Snowmobile Trail System and the heart of the Superior Snow Challenge Loop. There are four main trails leading into Manitouwadge, with over 1000 km of groomed trails in the surrounding area. You can also snowmobile across a virgin winterscape, or take a snowmobile expedition deep into the frozen Canadian Shield and back.

When sledding on the OFSC trail system, permits are required. Permits can be purchased at Bikes & Stuff & North of Superior Culligan or contact the Manitouwadge snowmobile club, the Manitou Sno Drifters.



Golfing Package

The Manitouwadge Golf Course is a 9 hole course located on a picturesque setting with a combination of undulating and flat fairways with small, well positioned greens. The course is open from May to October and booking of tee times is not necessary though a call to the clubhouse at 807-826-4265 to check on our course conditions and tournament play would be recommended. The Clubhouse is fully licensed and offers light snacks; there is also an excellent view of the entire course which can be seen from our balcony on the second floor.

2010 Moose Hunt

Archery Hunting: September 18, 2010-October 9, 2010

Rifle Hunting: October 9, 2010-December 15, 2010

This is not a guided trip, we supply the accommodations, you do the hunting. What we will do is provide you with information on where we have seen moose activity during the season. It may not be a bad idea to arrive a day or two prior to the start of the season. This will give you the chance to get to know the area, and do some preliminary scouting. Or you could even take that summer fishing trip. That will give you time to learn the area, plus get in some great fishing!
